<![CDATA[This study was motivated by the low Indonesian language learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students and the less optimal use of engaging and interactive learning media. The use of animated videos as learning media is expected to improve students' understanding and learning outcomes. This study aimed to determine the effect of using animated videos on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students. This research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of all third-grade elementary school students, while the samples were experimental and control classes selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through pretests and posttest. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing with the t-test. The results indicated that there was a difference in learning outcomes between students who learned using animated video media and those who learned through conventional instruction. The average posttest score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of animated videos has a positive effect on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students.]]>
