Employee retention has become a major challenge in the food and beverage (F&B) industry due to high employee mobility, which may disrupt operational stability and service quality. One factor influencing employee retention is Perceived Organizational Support (POS), referring to employees’ perceptions of how much the organization values their contributions and cares for their well-being. This study aims to analyze the implementation of organizational support, examine employees’ perceptions based on the Perceived Organizational Support concept, and formulate strategies to strengthen organizational support in order to improve employee retention at Laneo Cafe & Eatery Bandung. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation involving eight purposively selected informants consisting of operational employees, first-line managers, the owner, and a human resource practitioner. The data were analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive analysis model, while strategic recommendations were formulated using the IFE, EFE, IE, SWOT, and QSPM matrices. The findings indicate that employees generally perceived organizational support positively through the dimensions of fairness, supervisor support, and organizational rewards and job conditions. Nevertheless, improvements are still needed in communication transparency, employee development, and appreciation practices. The priority strategy identified is strengthening employee coaching through the role of operational leaders to enhance employees’ perceptions of organizational support and improve employee retention.
