<![CDATA[Language is the key that connects teachers’ knowledge to students’ understanding in learning, and it is accompanied by reading comprehension skills. However, fifth-grade students at SDN Belitung Utara 2 Banjarmasin still show problems in reading comprehension or simply reading. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to apply the PREDIKSI learning method, which is assumed to improve student activity, reading comprehension skills, as well as collaboration skills that are demands of the 21st century. Using qualitative methods, classroom action research (CAR) was conducted to explore and solve problems in reading comprehension and student collaboration. Assisted by trend analysis techniques that display the results of CAR data in graphs to see changes that occur. As a result, teacher activities were carried out well in implementing the PREDIKSI method, which stimulated increased student activity. Thus, students’ reading comprehension and collaboration skills also increased significantly to a skilled level.]]>
