Sociology subjects in class X Phase E3 at SMA Negeri 2 Pasaman. This condition was caused by the use of less varied and teacher-centered learning models. Therefore, an innovative learning model is needed to improve student engagement, one of which is the Make a Match learning model. This study aims to determine whether the implementation of the Make a Match learning model can improve students' learning activities. This research employed a quantitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires. The sample consisted of 34 students from class X Phase E3. Data were analyzed using percentage techniques to measure students' learning activities based on indicators of visual, oral, listening, writing, mental, and emotional activities. The results showed that students' learning activities increased and were categorized as active to very active. Visual activity reached 81.82% (very active), oral activity 77.40% (active), listening activity 78.54% (active), writing activity 79.42% (active), mental activity 80% (active), and emotional activity 83.96% (very active). These findings indicate that the Make a Match learning model significantly improves students' learning activities.In conclusion, the implementation of the Make a Match learning model is effective in enhancing students' learning activities in Sociology for class X Phase E3 at SMA Negeri 2 Pasaman.
