This study aims to describe the implementation of the Nature Learning method on the speech writing skills of grade VIII-2 students at RK Makmur Private Junior High School (Budi Murni 4) Medan, and to identify various obstacles faced by teachers in the implementation process. The approach used in this study was descriptive qualitative. The primary data sources were collected through writing tests, in-depth interviews, activity observations, and student response questionnaires. The results indicate that the implementation of the Nature Learning method was carried out systematically through three main stages: introduction, main topic, and closing. This method has been proven to significantly increase active engagement and motivation, and facilitate students' independent discovery and development of ideas based on direct observations in the school environment. However, several obstacles to its implementation were encountered, such as managing student focus outside of class, variations in individual abilities in developing ideas, and limited time allocation. Teachers addressed these obstacles by providing intensive guidance, implementing a student group system for discussion, and managing time more effectively. In conclusion, the Nature Learning method contributes positively and is highly suitable as an alternative, enjoyable, contextual learning option to improve students' speech writing skills.
