Theology Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tribuana Kalabahi University. Advisor: I Agnes M. Kolly, S.Si.Teol., M.Fil. This study aims to describe the perceptions of female victims of dating violence in the Theology Education Program at Tribuana Kalabahi University. This study was motivated by the phenomenon of dating violence, which impacts the psychological, social, and academic well-being of victims and is influenced by patriarchal culture and power dynamics within relationships. The research method employed was qualitative, with a sample of 4 female students who had experienced dating violence. The results of the study indicate that the forms of violence experienced include physical, verbal/psychological violence, as well as possessive behavior and excessive control. Of these three forms, the most dominant is verbal and psychological violence, characterized by controlling behavior, restrictions on social interactions, and the emotional pressure experienced by the victims. The victims’ perceptions of this violence varied; some interpreted it as a form of love and affection, while others recognized that these actions constituted harmful violence.
