<![CDATA[This study was motivated by the low writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students, particularly in writing procedural texts, as well as the limited use of creative learning models in Indonesian language instruction. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model on the writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically a non-equivalent control group design, which involved pretests and posttests for both the experimental and control classes. The research sample consisted of all 47 fourth-grade elementary school students, from classes IV A and IV B, selected using saturated sampling. Data were collected through a writing skills test and analyzed using normality tests, a homogeneity test (Levene's Test), and hypothesis testing with a paired sample t-test. The results showed that the average pretest score of the experimental class was 61.91, increasing to 77.79 in the posttest, while the control class increased from 55.13 to 69.95. The hypothesis test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It can therefore be concluded that the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model has a positive and significant effect on the writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students.]]>
