This study employed a quantitative research design using an ex post facto approach. The population, which also served as the research sample, consisted of all 28 eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Gowa. Data were collected through a questionnaire and subsequently analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics, including correlation analysis, simple linear regression, the t-test, and the F-test.The findings revealed that the implementation of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at SMA Negeri 1 Gowa was categorized as excellent (100%). Furthermore, the students' religious character was found to be at a high level, with 78.57% of the students classified in the very high category and 21.43% in the high category. The results of the data analysis demonstrated a positive and statistically significant effect of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education on students' religious character, accounting for 72% of the variance. The relationship between the two variables was classified as very strong (r = 0.849), indicating that Islamic Religious Education and Character Education contributed 72% to the development of students' religious character, while the remaining 28% was influenced by other factors. Therefore, the research hypothesis stating that Islamic Religious Education and Character Education significantly affects students' religious character was accepted.
