<![CDATA[ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS dengan menggunakanpenerapan metode Card Sort pada siswa kelas IV SD Priyan Trirenggo Bantul.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakankelas yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalahsiswa kelas IV SD Priyan Trirenggo Bantul sejumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara,observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan kolaboratif guru dan peneliti sehingga peneliti ikut terlibat dalamproses penelitian dari awal sampai akhir penelitian. Indikator keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran ini adalah jika terjadiperubahan proses yang ditunjukkan dengan keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran serta adanya peningkatan hasilbelajar IPS yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya nilai tes siswa, sekurang-kurangnya 75% siswa mencapai KKM (65).Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan siswa.Berdasarkanhasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa metode Card Sort dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Priyan. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata prasiklus 58 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 26,7%. Nilai rata-rata tessiklus I yaitu 64 dengan presentase ketuntasan sebesar 46,7% dan nilai rata-rata tes siklus II yaitu 73,34 denganpresentase ketuntasan sebesar 46,7% dan nilai rata-rata tes siklus III yaitu 92,34 dengan presentase ketuntasan sebesar100%.Kata kunci: Metode Card Sort, Hasil Belajar IPSABSTRACTThe Objective of this research was to know the effort of increasing social science learning achievement by usingCard Sort method of class IV Priyan Elementary School of Trirenggo, Bantul. The kinds of this research was classroomaction research that consist of four steps: planning process, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were30 students. Data collecting technique used interview, observation, test, and documentation. This research is donecollaboratively between teacher and researcher, so the researcher involved in the research process from the beginning untilthe end. Indicator of success in this study were if there was a change process shown by the students activeness in learningactivitiy and there was increasing in social studies result indicated by rising of student test scores, at least 75% of studentsreached Minimum Criteria Completeness (65). Data analysis techniques used the average and the percetage of studentmastery. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that tha Card Sort method can increase the student studyachievement . The research result show ed that the mean score of pre-cycle 58 with completeness percentage 26,7%.
