The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Mawasangka in Buton Tengah Regency in the subject of functions through the application of the MMP learning model. This study was a classroom action research with 30 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Mawasangka as the research subjects. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and learning outcome tests. The conclusion of this study is that using the MMP learning model in the subject of functions can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the initial test results, which were categorized as sufficient with an average score of 47.58 and a completion rate of 30%. The average mathematics learning score in cycle I was 64.67, and the number of students who achieved a passing score was 60%, which was categorized as good. In cycle II, the average mathematics learning score increased to 74.67, and the number of students who achieved a passing grade was 86.67%. In addition, the observation data in each cycle showed a change in attitude towards a more positive direction, both in terms of attitude towards learning and active participation in assignments and homework
