<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of mathematical communication skills on the mathematical reasoning skills of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 62 Buton. This type of research is quantitative research with a survey method. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 62 Buton, consisting of 17 students in class A and 17 students in class B. The sample in this study was the entire population, namely 34 students taken using convenience sampling techniques. Instruments and data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics, inferential statistics using simple linear regression tests. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that mathematical communication skills have an influence on the mathematical reasoning skills of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 62 Buton. This can be seen from the analysis results, which show a positive regression coefficient for the mathematical communication ability variable, indicating a direct relationship between mathematical communication ability and students' mathematical reasoning ability. The calculated t-value of 2.217 is greater than the t-table value of 2.037. The coefficient of determination is 13.3% for variable X versus Y, while the remaining 86.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.]]>
