This study aims to map the potential habitat of Amorphophallus titanum (bunga bangkai) in Langkat Regency using the Maximum Entropy (MaxEnt) algorithm. Environmental data used included rainfall, elevation, vegetation index (NDVI), slope, soil type, and distance to roads. The modelling results produced habitat suitability maps with probability values between 0 and 1, where the western and southern regions, especially around Gunung Leuser National Park, had the highest habitat suitability (values 0.75-1.00). The most influential environmental factors include elevation, rainfall and vegetation density, which favour the establishment of an optimal microclimate for the growth of this species. Validation using observational data showed a high level of accuracy. These findings provide a scientific basis for formulating habitat conservation and restoration strategies, including the establishment of priority protection zones. The MaxEnt-based spatial approach has proven effective in supporting the conservation of A. titanum, which is endemic and threatened, and important for sustainable biodiversity conservation efforts.
