Community service is an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education aimed at transforming academic knowledge into social life. This article describes a Community Service Program (PKM) conducted by students of the Master’s Program in Islamic Communication and Broadcasting through mentoring on the practice of prayer recitation for a community of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in Tanjung Pandan District, Belitung Regency. This activity was motivated by the limited understanding of some PAUD teachers regarding correct prayer recitations in accordance with Islamic teachings, even though PAUD teachers play a crucial role as primary role models in early childhood religious education. The program employed a participatory-educative approach through the delivery of materials, direct practice, as well as question-and-answer and discussion sessions. The results of the mentoring showed an improvement in participants’ understanding before and after the activity, as indicated by increased participation, the quality of questions raised, and an active one-hour discussion session following the material presentation. This community service activity contributed positively to enhancing the religious competence of PAUD teachers as a foundation for educating their students.
