This study developed and refined a web-based internship management information system with a Document Management System guide using PT PLN (Persero) Unit Layanan Pelanggan Palembang as a case study. The study addressed direct document submission, manual verification, limited status monitoring, and repeated explanations of the internal document system to new interns. Data were collected through observation, interviews with two employees, and literature review. The system was developed using Web Engineering through customer communication, planning, modeling, construction, and delivery and feedback. The resulting website supported account registration, internship applications, document uploads, status monitoring, participant data management, logbooks, administrator messages, and a Document Management System guide. Functional testing used 28 Black Box Testing scenarios covering valid and invalid inputs and expected outputs. All scenarios produced outputs consistent with the test criteria. The system therefore supported more structured internship administration and provided a digital briefing medium for interns without accessing internal company data.
