<![CDATA[Teacher performance evaluation is an essential process for assessing teachers' competence and professionalism in carrying out their responsibilities as educators. At SMP Negeri 13 Tarakan, the teacher performance evaluation process is still conducted manually by the principal, making the process time-consuming, prone to calculation errors, and less effective in producing objective evaluation results. This study aims to design and develop a Decision Support System (DSS) to assist in teacher performance evaluation using the Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) method. The COPRAS method was selected because it is capable of evaluating multiple alternatives based on various criteria and generating utility values and rankings to support decision-making. The research stages consisted of data collection, system requirements analysis, system design, implementation of the COPRAS method, and system testing using teacher performance evaluation data from SMP Negeri 13 Tarakan. The results indicate that the developed system assists the principal in conducting the evaluation process more quickly, objectively, and accurately while minimizing calculation errors Based on the testing results using the 2021 teacher performance evaluation data involving 16 teachers, the highest utility value of 100% was obtained by teacher GU08, while the lowest utility value was obtained by teacher GU07, with a utility value of 56.10%. The system recommends 10 teachers in the very good performance category, 4 teachers in the good performance category, and 2 teachers in the fair performance category. Therefore, the COPRAS method can be effectively implemented as a decision support tool for teacher performance evaluation at SMP Negeri 13 Tarakan.Keyword: decision support system, teacher performance evaluation, COPRAS.]]>
