Abstract

The achievement of organizational objectives is closely supported by the quality of employee performance. The present research investigates how organizational culture and workload relate to employee performance at PT Gilland Ganesha. The research adopted a quantitative design, with survey data collected from 50 employees working in the company's marketing division. Questionnaire responses served as the primary data source and were subsequently analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS 4. The analysis found a positive contribution of organizational culture to employee performance, indicated by a path coefficient of 0,462, a t-statistic of 4.603, and a p-value of 0.000. Workload likewise demonstrates a positive relationship with employee performance, producing the workload–performance relationship yielded a path coefficient of 0.368, with a t-statistic of 3.560 and a p-value of 0.000. Furthermore, the structural model recorded an R-Square value of 0.542, This result indicates that the two explanatory variables collectively contribute to 54.2% of the observed variation in employee performance. The other 45.8% is attributable to factors not incorporated into the present research model. The findings also suggest that supporting employee performance requires a conducive organizational environment together with workload arrangements that remain within employees’ capacity.
