Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job characteristics, work-life balance, and transformational leadership on employee job satisfaction at PT Gamma Mitra Lestari, South Tangerang. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed. The study population consisted of all 40 employees of PT Gamma Mitra Lestari, and a saturated sampling technique (census) was applied so that the entire population participated as respondents. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed through Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. The findings indicate that job characteristics, work-life balance, and transformational leadership each have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. These results suggest that employees experience higher job satisfaction when they perceive their jobs as meaningful and well-structured, achieve a better balance between work and personal life, and work under effective transformational leadership. The study highlights the importance of integrating organizational practices that support employee well-being, leadership effectiveness, and job design to improve workplace satisfaction. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of human resource management literature and provide practical recommendations for organizations seeking to strengthen employee satisfaction and organizational performance.
