<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the existence of Dance extracurricular activities for students at SD Negeri 3 Simpang Teritip. This dance extracurricular is expected to build creative character and cooperation in students both in the classroom and outside the school environment. This study aims to determine the role of extracurricular dance in the formation of creative character and cooperation in students of SDN 3 Simpang Teritip. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. With data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were thirteen people, namely one coach teacher and 12 students who participated in extracurricular dance activities. This research was conducted in Kundi Village, Simpang Teritip District. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation and data verification, then data validity checks were carried out using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of this study found that the application of extracurricular dance is able to form creative character & cooperation in students at SDN 3 Simpang Teritip, namely: students can create their own movements or together and then use them as movements in practice and students start to like them so that they are able to make creative movements and work together, in displaying their abilities or talents because dance prioritizes building creative character & cooperation for students who take part in dance.]]>
