<![CDATA[This study was motivated by the low level of students' learning interest in Geography at SMA Negeri 1 Sitiung. Therefore, the school implemented the Deep Learning approach as an effort to improve the quality of the learning process. This study aimed to determine students' perceptions of the implementation of the Deep Learning approach in Geography learning and to identify the level of students' learning interest after the implementation of the approach. This study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. The population consisted of all Phase E students at SMA Negeri 1 Sitiung, totaling 324 students. A sample of 76 students was selected using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires using a Likert scale, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis through the calculation of mean scores and percentages.The results showed that students' perceptions of the implementation of the Deep Learning approach in Geography learning were classified as strongly agree, with a mean score of 4.02 and a percentage of 80.58%. Based on the indicators, the acceptance indicator obtained a percentage of 80.61%, response 80.86%, and evaluation 80.18%, all of which were categorized as strongly agree. Meanwhile, students' learning interest was classified as very high, with a mean score of 4.02 and a percentage of 80.63%. Regarding the learning interest indicators, the feeling of enjoyment indicator obtained a percentage of 80.63% (very high), attention 82.89% (very high), and active involvement/participation 78.37% (high).]]>
