This study aims to analyze the performance of lighting quality and electrical energy efficiency resulting from the modernization of the Floodlight system from Metal Halide (MH) to Light Emitting Diode (LED) at Samudra Kuta Field. The evaluation was conducted by comparing the nominal installed power parameters and direct measurement results of illuminance (lux) across 15 grid points in accordance with the CIE 067-1986 method. The results show that replacing 16 units of 1,000 W MH lamps with 400 W LED lamps on four 16-meter towers successfully reduced the total installed power from 16 kW to 6.4 kW, representing a 60% reduction (9.6 kW). On the other hand, lighting quality improved significantly; average illuminance () increased by 84.47% from 124.5 lux to 229.67 lux, and Uniformity () increased by 125% from 0.36 to 0.81. The actual performance of this LED system meets the standard for non-competitive soccer field lighting ( and ). Converting to LED proves to be an effective solution for enhancing lighting quality while reducing installed electrical power.
