Employee performance is an important determinant of organizational effectiveness and sustainability. However, employee performance may be influenced by workload, employee development, and job satisfaction. Therefore, understanding the relationships among these variables is essential for organizations seeking to improve employee performance. This study aims to examine and empirically analyze the effects of workload and employee development on employee performance through job satisfaction at PT. Group Mitra Indonesia. This research employed a quantitative approach. The study population consisted of 400 employees, from which 199 respondents were selected using the Slovin sampling technique. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3.9. The results indicate that workload and employee development have positive and significant effects on job satisfaction. Furthermore, workload and employee development also have positive and significant effects on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. These findings indicate that appropriate workload management and effective employee development can enhance job satisfaction and subsequently contribute to improved employee performance. The study provides empirical implications for organizational management in formulating strategies to optimize employee performance through workload management, employee development, and job satisfaction.
