<![CDATA[Students’ ability to produce recount texts still faces several challenges, particularly in developing ideas, organizing sequences of events, and applying appropriate language conventions. This study examines the effect of using Educaplay as a learning medium on the recount text writing skills of tenth-grade students at MA Salafiyah Pekalongan. The study employed a quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample consisted of 36 students selected using saturated sampling. Data were collected through recount text writing tests administered before and after the treatment, while observation and documentation were used as supporting data. The data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test, Paired Sample t-test, and N-Gain with the assistance of SPSS 22. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 51.2961 in the pretest to 83.3325 in the posttest. The Paired Sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), while the N-Gain score of 0.6830 was categorized as moderate. These findings indicate that the use of Educaplay had a significant effect and contributed to improving students’ recount text writing skills after the learning intervention.]]>
