Introduction: Blood donor rejection is a system built to maintain blood safety. A prospective donor who experiences rejection is required to receive services. This is intended so that the donor can find out what caused the rejection and, if they have a disease, get appropriate treatment. The purpose of the study was to find out how blood donor counseling techniques are for donors who experience rejection. Method: The method used is a narrative literature review. This research process was carried out according to the stages of the narrative literature review from Machi and McEvoy (2022), including research interest, research topic, literature review, and research thesis. Furthermore, the researcher searched for literature related to the topic discussed in the Garuda portal database via the page https://garuda.kemdikbud.go.id/. The researcher used the keywords "guidance counseling techniques", "donor rejection", "blood donor", and "blood donor counseling". The author searched for literature with the criteria of being published between 2020 and 2025 to maintain the novelty of the research. The literature found was subjected to critical appraisal tools from JBI to assess the suitability of the article as a research reference. Results: The literature review concluded that blood donor refusal counseling techniques include attending, active listening, and structuring strategies Conclusion: Maximum education and optimization of counseling facilities are important for the success of blood donor counseling.
