Background: Nutrition-related diseases remain a major public health concern among adolescent girls and women. Poor dietary behaviors contribute to anemia, obesity, metabolic disorders, and other non-communicable diseases. Advances in nutrigenomics have emphasized the importance of understanding gene–nutrient interactions in influencing health outcomes. Nutrigenomic literacy—the ability to access, understand, evaluate, and apply nutrigenomic information—has emerged as a potential determinant of dietary behavior. However, evidence regarding its role among adolescent girls and women has not been systematically synthesized. Objective: This systematic review aimed to examine the role of nutrigenomic literacy as a determinant of dietary behavior among adolescent girls and women. Methods: A systematic review was carried out in accordance with the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Searches of the literature were conducted in PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, and ProQuest to identify studies published from 2015 to 2026. Included studies evaluated nutrigenomic literacy, nutrigenomic education, genetic literacy related to nutrition, precision nutrition, and dietary behavior among adolescent girls and women. Methodological quality was appraised using the Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Checklist. Results: Fourteen studies met the inclusion criteria. The findings indicated that higher levels of nutrigenomic literacy and nutrigenomic knowledge were associated with healthier dietary choices, improved nutrition-related decision-making, and greater adherence to dietary recommendations. Personalized nutrition interventions incorporating genetic information enhanced nutritional awareness and supported positive dietary behavior change. Conclusion: Nutrigenomic literacy appears to be an important determinant of dietary behavior among adolescent girls and women. Integrating nutrigenomic education into health promotion programs may improve dietary decision-making and encourage healthier eating practices. Further studies are needed to develop standardized nutrigenomic literacy measures and evaluate their long-term impact on dietary behavior.
