Employee loyalty is one of the essential factors that support organizational success in achieving its objectives. The level of employee loyalty can be influenced by various factors, including workload and the physical work environment. This study aims to analyze the effects of workload and physical work environment on employee loyalty through job satisfaction as an intervening variable among mechanics at Toyota Auto 2000 Daan Mogot. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of all mechanics working at Toyota Auto 2000 Daan Mogot, totaling 72 employees. A saturated sampling technique was applied, in which all members of the population were selected as research respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.1.1.6 software. The results indicate that workload has an effect on job satisfaction and employee loyalty. The physical work environment also affects job satisfaction and employee loyalty. Furthermore, job satisfaction influences employee loyalty and serves as a mediating variable in the relationship between workload and employee loyalty, as well as between physical work environment and employee loyalty.
