<![CDATA[One of the competencies that a teacher must possess is the ability to utilize learning media effectively. The use of learning media is a crucial skill for teachers in Indonesian language learning. Onebenefit ofthis learning media is that it can increase students' learning independence. However,students' level of learning independence, especially in Indonesian language learning, remains relatively low, so quality learning is needed, including the use of learning media such asflipbooks. The purpose of this study was to examine the quality of learning andto analyze students' levels of learning independence when usingflipbooks. This study used a mixed-methods, sequential, exploratory design. The procedures in this study consisted of planning, implementation, and assessment. The sample in this studyconsisted of Grade IV students, divided into experimental and control classes. The research instrumentsincluded Indonesian language test items, student learning independence questionnaires, and learning tools. Qualitative data collection was conducted through interviews with research subjects, questionnaires/observations, and documentation.Quantitative data werecollected through literacy skills tests. Thestudy's resultsshowedvery good average validity, practicality, and implementation scores. These findings serve as evaluation material and input for teachersto improve the quality of learning and provideinteractive learning experiences for students.]]>
