Abstract

Inclusive economic development is a key indicator for evaluating how far development has progressed in providing equal access and benefits to all in the community. This study aims to analyze opportunities, expenditure, health expenses, education, average length of schooling, and access to sanitation in increasing inclusive economic development in the Western and Eastern Regions of Indonesia from 2019 to 2023. Using binary logistic regression, the results show that health expenditure, average length of schooling, and sanitation have a positive and significant effect on increasing inclusive economic development, while education expenditure has a negative and non-significant effect. Update in the study: This uses a dummy variable for Western Indonesia as an inter-regional comparison.
