Background: Menstrual pain is one of the common complaints experienced by adolescent girls and may interfere with comfort and daily activities. Menstrual pain can be managed through pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches. One non-pharmacological method that can be used is lavender aromatherapy. Objective: To determine the difference in menstrual pain levels before and after lavender aromatherapy administration among adolescent girls in Gebangharjo Village. Methods: This study used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The study population consisted of adolescent girls experiencing menstrual pain in Gebangharjo Village. A total of 46 respondents were selected using total sampling. Pain intensity was measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) before and after lavender aromatherapy administration. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: The mean pain intensity before lavender aromatherapy was 4.217, with a median of 4, a minimum score of 3, and a maximum score of 8. After the intervention, the mean pain intensity decreased to 2.913, with a median of 2, a minimum score of 1, and a maximum score of 8. The mean pain intensity decreased by 1.304 points. The Wilcoxon test showed p < 0.001. Conclusion: There was a significant difference in menstrual pain levels before and after lavender aromatherapy administration among adolescent girls in Gebangharjo Village.
