<![CDATA[Patient knowledge is an important factor in successful orthodontic treatment, while conventional verbal education may not always provide optimal understanding. This study aimed to determine the effect of rotating display media on orthodontic care knowledge among patients at Tetrist Dental Care Clinic, Banjarbaru City. A pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted among 38 orthodontic patients selected by accidental sampling. Data were collected using a 10-item closed questionnaire administered before and after education using rotating display media. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The mean knowledge score increased from 8.66 before the intervention to 9.50 after the intervention, with the median increasing from 9.00 to 10.00. The Wilcoxon test showed Z = -2.557 and p = 0.011 (p < 0.05). Therefore, rotating display media had a significant effect on orthodontic care knowledge. The media can be used as a supplementary visual education tool in dental clinics to support patient understanding of oral hygiene, dietary restrictions, orthodontic appliance care, and routine follow-up.]]>
