This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy and perceived ease of use on the consumptive behavior of Shopee PayLater fintech service users among Generation Z in East Jakarta. This study employed a quantitative causal associative approach, with primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results indicate that financial literacy and perceived ease of use, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.545 indicates that 54.5% of the variation in consumptive behavior can be explained by these two variables. This study concludes that the convenience offered by Shopee PayLater services may encourage consumptive behavior among Generation Z, even when accompanied by financial literacy understanding.
