Objectives: This research aims to describe mandibular condyle linear measurements via panoramic radiographs and extraoral conditions in both partial and full edentulous patients at Gusti Hasan Aman Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM GHA) in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. Materials and Methods: This research uses an observational descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. Samples were selected using a purposive sampling technique, consisting of 50 edentulous patients aged 20-70 years. Clinical extraoral examinations were performed to evaluate mandibular movement deviation or deflection, facial asymmetry, and temporomandibular joint clicking. Linear measurements of the anterior joint space (AJS), superior joint space (SJS), and posterior joint space (PJS) were analyzed using ImageJ software by measuring the distance between the condyle and the glenoid fossa. Results: The results showed that mean condylar linear measurements in both partial and full edentulous patients were in the abnormal range. Full edentulous patients exhibited the lowest mean values for SJS (1.68±1.05 mm) and PJS (1.58±1.36 mm). Extraoral manifestations, including facial asymmetry, TMJ clicking, and mandibular deviation or deflection, were predominantly identified. Conclusion: The condylar position in both partial and full edentulous patients is within the abnormal range, accompanied by various extraoral clinical manifestations. Kennedy Class III maintained a relatively centered condylar position, whereas the full edentulous group exhibited greater postero-superior condylar displacement.
