Objectives: This research aims to describe the length and mandibular gonial angle using panoramic radiographs and extraoral manifestations in edentulous patients at Gusti Hasan Aman Dental Hospital, Banjarmasin. Materials and Methods: This research uses an observational descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 46 patients aged 20- 70 from June 2025 to March 2026 at Gusti Hasan Aman Dental Hospital, Banjarmasin. The subjects included 25 partial edentulous and 21 full edentulous patients selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through intraoral and extraoral examinations and panoramic radiograph analysis using ImageJ software to measure mandibular length and gonial angle. Data were analyzed descriptively using mean and standard deviation. Results: The results of this study on 46 edentulous patients at Gusti Hasan Aman Dental Hospital, Banjarmasin, showed that the mean mandibular length in the partial edentulous group was 136.81 ± 11.47 mm, higher than in the full edentulous group (135.16 ± 10.97 mm). The mean gonial angle in the full edentulous group was 133.14 ± 8.16°, higher than in the partial edentulous group (126.46 ± 9.39°). Extraoral manifestations observed included mandibular deviation and deflection, temporomandibular joint pain, and facial asymmetry. These changes may be influenced by subjective factors such as unilateral chewing habits, denture usage, and bruxism. Conclusion: Mandibular length was greater in partial edentulous patients, while gonial angle was greater in full edentulous patients. Panoramic radiography can be used to evaluate mandibular morphological changes in edentulous patients.
