Abstract

Bullying in the school environment remains a serious issue that can negatively affect students’ psychological, social, and academic development. This community service activity was conducted at SDN 2 Neglasari, Ciamis Regency, to increase students’ understanding of bullying and encourage the creation of a child-friendly school environment. The activity employed an educational and participatory approach through anti-bullying seminars involving 42 students, 8 teachers, and 2 school staff members. The methods used included literature study, field observation, interactive seminars, discussions, educational video screenings, simulations, quizzes, and post-seminar monitoring. The results showed that participants experienced increased understanding regarding the forms and impacts of bullying, including verbal, social, and cyberbullying. Students also demonstrated positive behavioral changes, particularly in reducing verbal teasing and improving social awareness toward peers. The use of interactive methods and visual media was effective in increasing participant engagement and facilitating students’ understanding of anti-bullying materials. Based on the monitoring results, this activity contributed positively to fostering a safer and more conducive school environment. Therefore, anti-bullying education activities need to be implemented continuously to strengthen students’ awareness and promote positive social interaction within the school environment.
