<![CDATA[Every year, new students who move to university cities face difficulties in selecting a boarding house that suits their needs. Existing decision support system (DSS) studies for boarding house selection generally use five criteria: rental price, distance to campus, facilities, security, and cleanliness. This study develops an evaluation model by adding two criteria that have received limited attention in previous research, namely WiFi availability and environmental quietness, which have become increasingly important in the era of hybrid and online learning. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method was applied to seven boarding house alternatives located in the Cilobak and Pangkalan Jati areas using seven evaluation criteria. A comparative analysis between the five-criteria and seven-criteria models showed measurable changes in the ranking results. Kos Kramat Belakang UPN (K4) achieved the highest preference value of 0.8639 and ranked first, confirming that the seven-criteria model provides more comprehensive and relevant recommendations for students' accommodation selection.]]>
