The article analyzes the educational effectiveness of multimedia and simulation technologies in preparing the population to act appropriately in hazardous situations involving gas leaks and carbon monoxide poisoning. It examines the specific characteristics of gas leakage, ignition of gas–air mixtures, and carbon monoxide exposure. Traditional and digital training methods are compared, and the advantages of multimedia and simulation technologies are identified. These include visualizing hazardous processes, repeatedly practising response procedures, developing decision-making skills, and analyzing mistakes in a safe environment.
