<![CDATA[Introduction: Nursing education requires continuous pedagogical innovation to produce competent professionals. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of the Korean drama 'Daily Dose of Sunshine' as a practical pedagogical medium for improving Psychiatric Nursing concepts in the Nursing Profession Program.Method: A quasi-experimental, one-group pretest-posttest design was employed. Using a total sampling technique, 55 active nursing students enrolled in the psychiatric nursing clinical stage at Universitas X were recruited. The intervention utilized the drama as a case-based learning tool. Data were collected online before and after the intervention using a 24-item Guttman-scale questionnaire, developed by adapting standard psychiatric nursing competency vignettes to the drama's clinical scenarios. Data analysis included univariate statistics and paired T-tests.Results: The mean pre-intervention score was 58.64 (SD = 11.82), which significantly increased to 72.35 (SD = 8.30) post-intervention. indicated a significant difference in knowledge (p < 0.05), While these results demonstrate a positive trend in knowledge acquisition, the absence of a control group precludes definitive causal claims regarding the standalone efficacy of this teaching methodConclusions: The Korean drama "Daily Dose of Sunshine" shows potential as a supplementary pedagogical tool in psychiatric nursing education. These findings provide empirical evidence supporting the integration of innovative edutainment strategies into formal nursing curricula to optimize students' professional competencies.]]>
