<![CDATA[The objective of this research is to develop a picture story flipbook media using the ADDIE model in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject for 5th grade elementary school students and to test its effectiveness in improving conceptual understanding. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The feasibility trial subjects consisted of 1 learning material expert, 1 learning media expert, and 1 learning design expert. The field trial was conducted on 15 5th grade elementary school students. Data collection methods utilized questionnaires, interviews, and conceptual understanding tests. Data collection instruments included expert validation questionnaire sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, and test questions. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed assessments from the material expert at 92% (very good), design expert at 94% (very good), and media expert at 95% (very good). Practicality results based on student responses reached 92% (very good) and teacher responses reached 94% (very good). Furthermore, there was an increase in the average score of students' conceptual understanding tests from 56.6 (pre test) to 88.3 (post test) with classical completeness percentage reaching 93%. It can be concluded that the picture story flipbook media is highly feasible, practical, and effective in improving the understanding of IPAS concepts among 5th grade elementary school students.]]>
