Abstract

In the era of digitalization, marketing employees are expected to continuously generate creative ideas while adapting to rapid technological and market changes. This study examined the mediating role of work engagement in the relationship between co-worker support and employee creativity among marketing employees in Indonesia. A quantitative cross-sectional correlational design was employed with 102 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the using the MedMod (Version 2.1.14) module in Jamovi, equivalent to Hayes' PROCESS Model 4 and a nonparametric bootstrap procedure based on 5,000 resamples. The results indicated that co-worker support was positiv3ely associated with work engagement (B = 0.262, p = .015) and employee creativity (B = 0.168, p = .031). Work engagement was also positively associated with employee creativity (B = 0.387, p < .001). In addition, an indirect association between co-worker support and employee creativity through work engagement was also observed (B = 0.101, 95% CI [0.024, 0.199]). These findings suggest that the association between co-worker support and employee creativity operates, in part, through work engagement.
