This community service program aimed to strengthen Posyandu cadres’ capacity to utilize local catfish and tempeh through Catfish and Tempeh Nuggets (NULTE) training for stunting prevention. Ten Posyandu cadres in Kemanisan Village, Serang City, participated in a participatory program consisting of nutrition education, interactive discussions, demonstrations, hands-on NULTE preparation, mentoring, and pre-test and post-test evaluation using a 10-item empowerment questionnaire. The mean knowledge score increased from 15.8 to 22.9 (44.9%), while the skill score increased from 14.2 to 23.1 (62.7%). The total score increased from 30.0 to 46.0 (53.3%), and 90% of cadres achieved good to very good competency levels. Participants were able to independently prepare NULTE and deliver nutrition education during Posyandu activities. The program strengthened cadres’ knowledge, practical skills, and confidence, supporting their role as community nutrition educators and strengthening local food-based stunting prevention.
