<![CDATA[Limited learning media for teaching personal safety skills prevent young children from receiving effective self-protection education. This community service program aimed to develop and implement an audio-visual interactive storybook as a learning medium at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) 69 Kindergarten, Surabaya. The program consisted of needs assessment, media development, teacher training, classroom implementation, and evaluation. Twenty children and two teachers participated in the program. The results showed that the developed media was effectively implemented and improved children's participation, learning interest, teacher–student interaction, and overall engagement during learning activities. In addition, teachers gained an innovative instructional medium to deliver personal safety education in a more interactive and meaningful way. Therefore, the audio-visual interactive storybook has strong potential as a sustainable learning medium to support personal safety education in early childhood settings.]]>
