<![CDATA[Reading habits and writing performance have become two of the most crucial issues in the educational field, including language education. One of the reading aspects is books read, and one of the writing aspects is grammar and writing fluency. This study aims to investigate the correlation among students’ books read, their grammar, and their writing fluency. The study used a quantitative method. The books read questionnaire and writing test were administered to a group of 77 students. Analyses using Pearson product-moment correlation showed a significant correlation between books read and grammar (r = .265) and books read and fluency (r = .315). Furthermore, regression analyses discovered that students’ books read could predict grammar (7.0%). Meanwhile, students’ books read could predict fluency of writing (9.9%). Finally, this study proposed that through books reading, students can overcome the difficulties they meet when do writing especially grammar and fluency.]]>
