<![CDATA[This study aimed to improve paragraph writing skills through the use of picture series media among fourth-grade students at UPTD SDN Keleyan 4. The research was motivated by students’ low ability to organize ideas coherently and systematically in Indonesian language learning. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kurt Lewin model consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research was conducted in two cycles involving 23 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and writing tests. Quantitative data were analyzed using average scores and learning mastery percentages, while qualitative data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the implementation of picture series media significantly improved students’ paragraph writing skills. Learning mastery increased from 73.91% in cycle I to 95.65% in cycle II, while the average score improved from 79.6 to 86.2. Questionnaire and interview results also indicated positive changes in students’ attitudes toward learning, including higher motivation, confidence, participation, and interest in writing activities. Students became more active and engaged during the learning process. Therefore, picture series media can be considered an effective learning strategy to improve students’ writing skills and learning engagement in elementary schools.]]>
