Data in 2022 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI) Banten Province showed reduction in stunting prevalence from 24.5% in 2021 to 20% in 2022. While National target of 21.6% was met, further reduction efforts are still required. In Tangerang Regency, number of stunting cases dropped to 6,000 in 2023—Nutrition is critical factor determining health outcomes for both mothers and infants. Pregnant women's knowledge regarding balanced nutrition is crucial for stunting prevention. Choice of health education media, methods influences appeal of material and ease with which it’s understood, grasped, and retained. Pocketbooks and booklets serve health promotion media, combining text with illustrations or photographs and color schemes. Determine the effectiveness of practical pocketbook guide on balanced nutrition in increasing pregnant women's knowledge regarding stunting prevention. Quasi-experimental design was employed using one-group pre-test and post-test approach. Data were collected via questionnaires between October and November 2025 from sample of 47 pregnant women at Lestari Posyandu in Pagedangan Udik, Kronjo, Tangerang Regency. Post-test results showed significant improvement in understanding, with 96% participants demonstrating "Good" knowledge. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test yielded p-value of 0.001 (p<0.05). This indicates significant difference in knowledge levels before and after provision of balanced nutrition education using the practical pocketbook guide; thus, the use of practical pocketbook guide on balanced nutrition is effective in increasing pregnant women's knowledge regarding stunting prevention.
