<![CDATA[Oral and dental health is often neglected by the public, even though it plays a role as an entry point for germs and bacteria. Awareness of children aged 10–12 years in maintaining oral and dental health is still low, as seen from the habit of being lazy about brushing their teeth and frequently consuming sweet foods. This study aims to determine the description of knowledge about maintaining oral health and permanent tooth decay in fourth-grade students of SDN 18 Sesetan in 2026. The type of research is descriptive analytical with a cross-sectional approach. Primary data are in the form of knowledge test results and student dental examinations, and secondary data are in the form of student attendance. The results of the study on 37 students showed that the highest level of knowledge was in the sufficient category, with 22 students (59.46%). The number of students who experienced caries was 24 students (64.87%). It was concluded that most students have a level of knowledge about maintaining oral and dental health in the sufficient category with an average of sufficient knowledge and dental caries still very high.]]>
