Renvoi in the Deed of Granting Mortgage Rights (APHT) serves as a mechanism for correcting administrative errors to ensure legal accuracy and certainty. However, improper implementation of renvoi may affect the validity of the deed and trigger legal liability for the Land Deed Official (PPAT). This study aims to analyze the legal liability of PPATs regarding renvoi in APHT and examine its legal consequences. The research employs a normative legal method using statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. Data were collected from primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials through library research and analyzed qualitatively using legal interpretation and deductive reasoning. The findings reveal that renvoi conducted in accordance with legal procedures does not diminish the authenticity or evidentiary value of APHT. Conversely, unlawful renvoi may result in administrative, civil, and ethical liability for PPATs. The novelty of this study lies in its specific examination of the relationship between renvoi in APHT and the legal liability regime of PPATs. The study implies the need for stronger regulations and supervision mechanisms to ensure legal certainty and protection for all parties involved.
