This study aims to analyze operational risks in the yarn dyeing process at CV Gemilang Sinar Indonesia and identify risk control measures that can be implemented to minimize potential impacts. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews, and documentation during the internship period. The results indicate that there is a medium-level operational risk (medium risk) in the yarn dyeing process, primarily caused by inadequate management of dye waste and residual coloring materials. This risk occurs repeatedly due to the daily dyeing activities and has led to decreased work efficiency, increased potential for material misuse, wastage of raw materials, and poorly organized work areas. Furthermore, ineffective waste management poses a risk of environmental pollution and has generated complaints from communities living near the company. Based on the findings, risk mitigation efforts should focus on strengthening supervision of dye material usage, implementing stricter Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), improving material storage systems, and optimizing the management and disposal of production waste. The implementation of these measures is expected to reduce operational risks, enhance production efficiency, and support environmental sustainability within and around the company.
