Alternative energy utilization continues to develop, yet unoptimized potential remains, such as mechanical energy from children playing on swings in playgrounds. This energy can be converted into useful electricity through a conversion device. This study aims to design a motion-to-electricity conversion system for 12 V battery charging and monitoring using Arduino Uno. The methodology includes design, assembly, testing, and analysis. The system comprises a generator, rectifier, buck converter, battery, voltage sensor, ACS712 current sensor, I2C LCD, LED, and relay. Test results show the generator produces 0.07–1.19 V and 0 A, failing to charge the battery optimally. Average errors are 2.65% for voltage and 8.61% for current sensors. The monitoring system successfully displays data on the LCD and operates the LED and relay. In conclusion, the system functions properly, but a more suitable generator is required.
