This research is a survey study conducted on the community of Surakarta City who own physical gold for investment purposes. The aim of this study is to examine the influence of financial literacy, opinions, and risk tolerance on investment interest in Surakarta. The type of data used is quantitative data from primary sources. Data collection was done through distributing questionnaires to respondents who meet the research criteria. The population in this study is the community of Surakarta City, with a sample determined using purposive sampling, namely respondents who reside in Surakarta, are at least 18 years old, and own physical gold intended for investment. The sample size used was 96 respondents. The collected data has been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis techniques used include multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption tests, t-test, f-test, and the coefficient of determination (R2). The research results show that financial literacy does not have a significant effect on the interest in investing in physical gold in Surakarta, while income and risk tolerance do have a significant effect on the interest in investing in physical gold in Surakarta. These findings indicate that people's interest in investing in gold is more influenced by their financial capability and readiness to face investment risks rather than their level of financial literacy. Moreover, collectively, financial literacy, income, and risk tolerance affect the interest in investing in physical gold in Surakarta.
