Abstract The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) Learning Motivation of Class X Students; 2) Class X Student Learning Outcomes; 3) The Effect of Learning Motivation on Learning Outcomes in Basic Culinary Subjects in Class X Students. The population of this study was 216 students in class X catering, a sample of 68 was determined using the Slovin formula. Data collection uses questionnaires and documentation. Instrument trials were conducted on 30 respondents outside the sample. The results of the validity test obtained 24 valid items and 1 invalid item. Test the hypothesis using the product moment correlation. Reliability test with alpha cronbach 0.752. The research results show that; 1) The learning motivation of class X students in the Medium category with a relative frequency of 29% 2) The learning outcomes of class X students in the very high category with a relative frequency of 100% 3) there is a positive influence between learning motivation on student learning outcomes in class X with a value of r_count 0.784 > r_(table )0,235. The coefficient of determination R^2 = 0.244 (24.4%) while the rest (75.6%) is influenced by other factors not discussed in the study. Keywords: Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes, kulinery basis
