<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze and describe the versification of rhythm, rhyme, and figurative language of qasidah baiyyah in the diwan of Abbas bin Al-Ahnaf. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. With the purpose sampling technique, this study chose one sha’ir title as a research sample that was selected based on the prominent rhyme and rhythm variations and the diversity of language styles found. This research represents the depth of aesthetics and meaning, through the arudh qowafi approach that analyzes the versification of rhyme rhythm. As well as through a stylistic approach that analyzes and describes the style of figurative language used. The results of the analysis show that this qasidah contains rhythmic versification characterized by the bahr mutaqorib pattern. There are variations that appear in the form of zihaf qabdh and ‘illat hadzf in his hashwu and dhorob, indicating musical balance. Then the versification of the rhyme (qowafi), marked by the form of qafiyah muthallaqah mardufah maushulah bil-mad with the letter ba’ as rawi’ muthlaq which is the foundation of the sound at the end of each stanza, the asthma qafiyah has a mutawatir pattern representing a stable rhythmic order even though there is a ‘uyub qafiyah with the type of sinad hadzwu. As for the figurative language side, there is a rhetorical and figurative style that concretizes the experience of love, as well as strengthens the poet’s self-image.]]>
